The Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) basketball nipped the host Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 60-53 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Regis Groff (Denver, CO). The Fusion go into the non-league test with a 1-17 record. In their last test, Regis Groff was tipped by Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO), 83-24, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Skyview for a 5A/4A Colorado test on Thursday, February 9. Thornton will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 48-42 league loss to Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-11.
