Wisconsin High School Basketball - Chequamegon knocked off by Florence
February 7, 2023: Florence, WI 54121 The Florence Bobcats basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Chequamegon Screaming Eagles to 77 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Three Lakes for a Northern Lakes contest on Monday, February 13. Florence will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 84-51 non-league win over Bowler (Bowler, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 12-2.
The Screaming Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Edgar was defeated by Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI), 75-42, in a non-league contest.
