February 7, 2023: Goldsboro, NC 27530 In Tuesday's league outing, the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC), by a count of 69-45.
The Cyclones (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartan go into the North Carolina Christian - 2A South outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Christ Covenant was crushed by Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC), 46-45, in a league outing.
The now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Howard for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 9. Faith Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.
