February 7, 2023: East Peoria, IL 61611 The East Peoria Raiders ran past the visiting Richwoods Knights basketball team by a final score of 68-60 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a Mid-Illini game, on Friday, February 10. East Peoria will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Redbirds come into the battle with a 25-2 record after their 70-41 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
The Knights (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Danville (Danville, IL). The Vikings come into the Big Twelve battle with a 8-18 record. In their last battle, Danville was toppled by Normal Community (Normal, IL), 52-38, in a league battle.
