Indiana High School Basketball - Greenwood holds off Franklin Central
February 7, 2023: Greenwood, IN 46142 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN) and the visiting Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), saw Greenwood's basketball squad hold off Franklin Central by a tally of 52-46.
With the victory, Greenwood improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Woodmen travel to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to confront the Quakers in a Mid-State challenge on Friday, February 10. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Plainfield lost 69-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)
Next up, the Flashes confront the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge, on Friday, February 10. Franklin Central will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 68-56 league loss to Zionsville (Zionsville, IN).
