Kentucky High School Basketball - Glasgow holds off Monroe County
February 7, 2023: Glasgow, KY 42141 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) and the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), saw Glasgow's basketball squad hold off Monroe County by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Glasgow improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Scotties host Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY) to confront the Patriots in a District 15 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Allen County-Scottsville lost 67-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Monroe County will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY).
