Wisconsin High School Basketball - Homestead holds off Hartford
February 7, 2023: Mequon, WI 53092 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) and the visiting Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI), saw Homestead's basketball squad hold off Hartford by a tally of 73-71.
With the victory, Homestead improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to West Bend West (West Bend, WI) to confront the Spartans in a North Shore challenge on Friday, February 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. West Bend West lost 58-46 in their recent league challenge against Slinger (Slinger, WI)
Next up, the Orioles confront the Port Washington Pirates (Port Washington, WI) in a North Shore challenge, on Friday, February 10. Hartford will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 67-57 league loss to Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI).
