Missouri High School Basketball - Helias holds off Lift for Life Academy
February 7, 2023: Jefferson City, MO 65109 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) and the visiting Lift for Life Academy (St. Louis, MO), saw Helias's basketball squad hold off Lift for Life Academy by a tally of 62-56.
With the victory, Helias improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Southern Boone won 72-64 in their recent league challenge against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO)
Next up, the confront the St. Mary's Dragons (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Lift for Life Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 75-58 league win over Duchesne (St. Charles, MO).
