Michigan High School Basketball - Manistee trounces Hesperia
February 7, 2023: Manistee, MI 49660 The Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Hesperia Panthers (Hesperia, MI), 49-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chippewas (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Orchard View (Muskegon, MI). The Cardinals go into the Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Orchard View was trounced by Kent City (Kent City, MI), 50-32, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Muskegon for a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers test on Thursday, February 9. Hesperia will encounter a Norsemen squad coming off a 63-55 non-league loss to West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 12-3.
