Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Long Lake Central Lakers (Long Lake, NY), 45-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Placid upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Bombers host Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY) to play the Wildcats in a Section 7 Mountain Valley bout on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Schroon Lake won 60-25 in their recent league bout against Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY)

Next up, the Lakers play the Town of Webb Eskimos (Old Forge, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Long Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
