Michigan High School Basketball - Millington tops New Lothrop
February 7, 2023: Millington, MI 48746 Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), 72-64 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Millington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Bullock Creek (Midland, MI) to play the Lancers in a Tri-Valley - West bout on Friday, February 10. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Bullock Creek won 52-48 in their recent league bout against St. Louis (St. Louis, MI)
Next up, the Hornets play the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Thursday, February 9. New Lothrop will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Brown City (Brown City, MI).
