South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bound Brook Crusaders (Bound Brook, NJ), 55-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Hunterdon upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 6-14. North Warren Regional lost 52-10 in their recent league bout against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ) in a Skyland - Mountain bout, on Thursday, February 9. Bound Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Terriers come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 39-35 non-league win over Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ).
