Alaska High School Basketball - Dimond tops Chugiak
February 7, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99502 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), saw Dimond's basketball squad knock off Chugiak by a count of 43-32.
With the victory, Dimond upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Lynx host Service (Anchorage, AK) to play the Cougars in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Monday, February 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Service won 36-31 in their recent league challenge against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK)
Next up, the Mustangs play the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Friday, February 10. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 57-27 league loss to West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
