The East Wake Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the host South Johnston Trojans to 37 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithfield-Selma for a contest on Friday, February 10. East Wake will meet a Spartans team coming off a 63-33 non-league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-12.

The Trojans (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, West Johnston triumphed over Hunt (Wilson, NC), 43-26, in a league contest.
