February 7, 2024: McBain, MI 49657 The Northern Michigan Christian Comets tipped the visiting Houghton Gremlins basketball team by a final score of 58-53 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Comets face the Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) in a Highland battle, on Wednesday, February 7. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 55-54 league loss to Roscommon (Roscommon, MI).
The Gremlins (12-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Western Peninsula battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Hancock was nudged by Gwinn (Gwinn, MI), 47-27, in a non-league battle.
