Tennessee High School Basketball - Signal Mountain trounces Lookout Valley
February 7, 2024: Signal Mountain, TN 37377 The Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Lookout Valley Yellowjackets (Chattanooga, TN), 85-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Trojans go into the 3A District 6 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Soddy Daisy was trounced by Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN), 45-37, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 1-21 record. They play next when they travel to Sale Creek for a 1A District 5 test on Friday, February 9. Lookout Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-40 league win over Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 16-10.
