In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored a good 62-47 triumph over the Mount Pleasant Tigers.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River match, on Tuesday, February 13. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 56-37 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC).
