Illinois High School Basketball - Sandburg overwhelms Tinley Park
February 7, 2024: Orland Park, IL 60462 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) and the visiting Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL), saw Sandburg's basketball squad wallop Tinley Park by a tally of 68-34.
With the victory, Sandburg improves its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to confront the Griffins in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, February 9. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 15-11. Lincoln-Way East lost 63-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)
Next up, the Titans confront the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Friday, February 9. Tinley Park will attempt to improve on its 7-18 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 68-43 league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL).
