Colorado High School Basketball - Dolores Huerta Prep fells Peyton
February 7, 2024: Peyton, CO 80831 Dolores Huerta Prep Scorpions (Pueblo, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Peyton Panthers (Peyton, CO), 50-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dolores Huerta Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Scorpions host Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Highlanders in a bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Thomas MacLaren School lost 42-34 in their recent non-league bout against Golden View Classical Academy (Golden, CO)
Next up, the Panthers play the Belleview Christian Bruins (Westminster, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Peyton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 32-15 non-league win over Pikes Peak Christian (Colorado Springs, CO).
