The Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) basketball edged the host Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX), 52-51 in Friday's league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 15-16 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole for a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Greenwood will play a Indians team coming off a 73-59 league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Indians record now stands at 21-10.

With the loss, Andrews falls to 16-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Pecos (Pecos, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-17.
