February 7, 2025: Ashland, WI 54806 Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs (Chetek, WI), 54-45 in a league match.
With the victory, Ashland upgrades its record to 3-15 on the year. The Oredockers host Northwestern (Maple, WI) to face the Tigers in a Heart O'North match on Monday, February 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 12-5. Northwestern lost 71-61 in their recent league match against Cumberland (Cumberland, WI)
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phillips for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will meet a Loggers squad coming off a 63-51 non-league win over Gilman (Gilman, WI). The Loggers record now stands at 12-5.
