February 7, 2025: Walkerville, MI 49459 Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI), 80-11 in a league match.
With the victory, Bear Lake advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Lakers travel to Cadillac Heritage Christian (Cadillac, MI) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 8-1. Cadillac Heritage Christian won 55-22 in their recent non-league match against Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI)
The Wildcats now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crossroads Charter Academy for a West Michigan D match on Tuesday, February 11. Walkerville will face a Cougars squad coming off a 40-37 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-16.
