The Camden County Wildcats basketball squad (Kingsland, GA), lost 49-29 in Friday's league battle with the host Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA)

With the victory, Tift County advances its record to 17-7 on the year. The Blue Devils host Valdosta (Valdosta, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 1 battle on Saturday, February 8. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 15-9. Valdosta won 74-54 in their recent league battle against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowndes for a AAAAAA Region 1 battle on Saturday, February 8. Camden County will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 44-42 league win over Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 15-9.
