Oregon High School Basketball - Westside Christian bested by Cascade
February 7, 2025: Lake Oswego, OR 97035 Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR), 69-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cascade advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Stayton (Stayton, OR) to face the Eagles in a 4A Oregon West match on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 11-7. Stayton won 60-55 in their recent league match against North Marion (Aurora, OR)
The Eagles now own a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle North Catholic for a 3A Lewis & Clark match on Tuesday, February 11. Westside Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 66-64 league win over Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR). The Knights record now stands at 9-11.
