The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Downey Christian Patriots (Orlando, FL) and the visiting The Rock National Lions (Gainesville, FL), observed Downey Christian's basketball team knock off The Rock National by a score of 78-61.

The Patriots (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Lions come into the Sunshine Independent challenge with a 10-10 record.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Specially Fit Academy Rams (Dover, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. The Rock National will attempt to improve on its 18-11 season record.
