The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) and the visiting Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), observed Mead's basketball team overwhelm Falls City by a score of 66-33.

The Raiders (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Weeping Water was routed by Auburn (Auburn, NE), 71-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Diller-Odell Griffin (Odell, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Falls City will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Griffin come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 46-32 non-league win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).
