Minnesota High School Basketball - Goodhue nips Pine Island
February 7, 2025: Goodhue, MN 55027 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored a close 69-67 triumph over the Pine Island Panthers.
The Wildcats (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 1 contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Kenyon-Wanamingo nipped Randolph (Randolph, MN), 64-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Pine Island will attempt to better on its 13-10 season record. The Komets go into the contest with a 5-15 record after their 78-58 non-league loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN).
