Louisiana High School Basketball - Maurepas routs Lutheran
February 7, 2025: Maurepas, LA 70449 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Maurepas Wolves basketball team scored a big 77-8 triumph over the Lutheran Gryphons.
The Wolves (14-16) will now prepare for their contest against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 11-12 record. In their last match, Slaughter Community Charter routed Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 60-31, in a non-league game.
With the loss, Lutheran falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA) to confront the Spartans in a C District 8 game on Monday, February 10. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 13-11. Phoenix won 56-23 in their recent non-league game against Jehovah-Jireh (Baton Rouge, LA)
