The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders basketball squad (Chula Vista, CA), was outscored 63-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Victory Christian Academy Knights (Chula Vista, CA)

With the victory, Victory Christian Academy advances its record to 13-12 on the year. The Knights travel to Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 16-7. Sage Creek won 70-58 in their recent non-league battle against Hoover (San Diego, CA)

The Crusaders now own a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastlake for a Metro - South Bay battle on Wednesday, February 12. Mater Dei Catholic will meet a Titans squad coming off a 66-38 league loss to Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Titans record now stands at 9-16.
