February 7, 2025: Keizer, OR 97303 West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), 55-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Linn upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR) to face the Pacers in a 6A Three Rivers match on Friday, February 14. The Pacers enter the match with a record of 8-13. Lakeridge lost 76-48 in their recent league match against Tualatin (Tualatin, OR)
The Celtics now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Salem for a 6A Central Valley match on Tuesday, February 11. McNary will face a Saxons squad coming off a 73-71 league loss to West Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons record now stands at 9-10.
