California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon victorious over Monte Vista
February 7, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91978 In Friday's league contest, the host Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Monte Vista Monarchs.
The Cougars (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Academy was topped by Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA), 59-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Monte Vista will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 10-16 record after their 63-60 non-league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA).
