Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ), 42-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Maricopa advances its record to 6-18 on the year. The Rams travel to Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to meet the Spartans in a 5A Sonoran match on Tuesday, February 11. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 7-18. Vista Grande lost 52-15 in their recent league contest against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ)
