The Centauri Falcons basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers to 29 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bayfield for a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Saturday, February 8. Centauri will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 53-41 league loss to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Montezuma-Cortez falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Alamosa (Alamosa, CO) to confront the Mean Moose in a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Saturday, February 8. The Mean Moose go into the game with a record of 12-5. Alamosa won 42-22 in their recent league game against Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO)
