Michigan High School Basketball - Chippewa Valley thwarts Lutheran Northwest
February 7, 2025: Rochester Hills, MI 48309 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the host Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), observed Chippewa Valley's basketball team knock off Lutheran Northwest by a score of 56-46.
The Big Reds (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Port Huron Northern was beaten by South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI), 49-32, in a non-league game.
With the loss, Lutheran Northwest falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Clarenceville (Livonia, MI) to play the Trojans in a Michigan Independent - Blue game on Friday, February 7. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-13. Clarenceville lost 42-22 in their recent league game against Roeper (Birmingham, MI)
