The Crater Comets basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting North Eugene Highlanders to 31 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ashland for a 5A Midwestern game on Tuesday, February 11.

With the loss, North Eugene falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Ashland (Ashland, OR) to confront the Grizzlies in a 5A Midwestern game on Friday, February 14. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 5-13.
