February 7, 2025: Rhinelander, WI 54501 Rhinelander Hodags (Rhinelander, WI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI), 52-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Rhinelander advances its record to 12-8 on the year. The Hodags host Shawano Community (Shawano, WI) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 14-4. Shawano Community won 69-51 in their recent league match against New London (New London, WI)
The Hatchets now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Great Northern match on Tuesday, February 11. Tomahawk will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 100-31 league win over Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 17-4.
