California High School Basketball - El Capitan defeats Rock Academy
February 7, 2025: San Diego, CA 92106 The El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) basketball were winner over the host Rock Academy Warriors (San Diego, CA), 60-40 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vaqueros now possess a 6-17 record. They play next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a bout on Tuesday, February 11. El Capitan will play a Cougars team coming off a 63-41 league win over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Rock Academy falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-7. O'Farrell Charter won 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA)
