February 7, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24017 Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 54-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fleming upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Colonels travel to Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-14.
The Eagles now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Franklin County will face a Vikings squad coming off a 62-45 non-league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 16-2.
