In Tuesday's league outing, the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), by a margin of 55-52.

The Miners (14-11) will now prepare for their outing against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers go into the Northern outing with a 17-9 record. In their last outing, University Prep held off West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 63-58, in a league outing.

The Cubs now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lassen for a Northern outing on Thursday, February 10. Anderson will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 60-58 league loss to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 9-15.
