Nebraska High School Basketball - Cedar Catholic overwhelms Homer
February 8, 2022: Homer, NE 68030 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) and the host Homer Knights (Homer, NE), saw Cedar Catholic's basketball squad wallop Homer by a tally of 79-38.
With the victory, Cedar Catholic improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE) to confront the Braves in a C1 District 8 challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Battle Creek won 72-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE)
Next up, the Knights confront the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 11. Homer will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 54-36 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE).
