The Central Crossing Comets basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Centennial Stars to 43 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynoldsburg for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest on Friday, February 11. Central Crossing will battle a Raiders team coming off a 70-45 non-league win over Northland (Columbus, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 11-7.

The Stars (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mifflin (Columbus, OH). The Punchers enter the Columbus City - North contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Mifflin was defeated by Olentangy Berlin (Delaware, OH), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
