In Tuesday's league outing, the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) basketball squad beat the host Covington Cougars (Covington, VA), by a margin of 44-33.

The Rams (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the Pioneer outing with a 1-20 record. In their last outing, Eastern Montgomery was topped by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 57-37, in a league outing.
