Union Farmers (Union, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ), 44-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Farmers host Rahway (Rahway, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 9. Linden will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 43-33 non-league loss to Dayton (Springfield, NJ).
