Michigan High School Basketball - Manistique crushes Rapid River
February 8, 2022: Manistique, MI 49854 Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI), 54-20 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Manistique upgrades its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Emeralds host Westwood (Ishpeming, MI) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 11. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Westwood won 59-48 in their recent league bout against Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI)
Next up, the Rockets play the Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Rapid River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 54-27 non-league loss to West Iron County (Iron River, MI).
