The Placer Hillmen basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Ponderosa Bruins to 27 in the Hillmen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hillmen now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nevada Union for a Foothill Valley contest on Thursday, February 10. Placer will meet a Miners team coming off a 52-42 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Miners record now stands at 10-8.

The Bruins (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights enter the Foothill Valley contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Rio Linda triumphed over Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 57-26, in a league contest.
