West Virginia High School Basketball - Princeton nips Summers County
February 8, 2022: Hinton, WV 25951 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) and the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), saw Princeton's basketball squad hold off Summers County by a count of 39-35.
With the victory, Princeton upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Wyoming East won 78-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) in a Coalfield AA challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Summers County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 73-33 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
