In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lovejoy Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 71-64 triumph over the Cahokia Comanches.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. Lovejoy will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record. The Pilots enter the match with a 2-24 record after their 78-21 non-league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, KY).
