The Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) basketball nipped the host Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA), 59-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Newbury Park Adventist (Newbury Park, CA). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 17-8 record.

The Trojans now own a 16-6 record.
