Maine High School Basketball - Woodland routs Piscataquis
February 8, 2023: Baileyville, ME 04694 In Wednesday's league outing, the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), by a margin of 66-12.
The Dragons (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas go into the C North outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, Lee Academy was trounced by Shead (Eastport, ME), 41-30, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Penobscot Valley for a C North outing on Wednesday, February 8. Piscataquis will clash with a Howlers squad coming off a 58-19 non-league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 17-1.
