February 8, 2023: Cumberland, RI 02864 The Cumberland Clippers ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the visiting Prout Crusaders to 0 in the Clippers league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Cumberland moves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to face the Patriots in a State Championship Division contest on Friday, February 10. The Patriots go into the contest with a record of 10-5. Pilgrim won 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Haven (North Haven, CT)
The Crusaders now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pilgrim for a State Championship Division contest on Friday, February 17.
